Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition post-surgery
- Administer medications and manage pain relief for patients
- Assist with airway management and respiratory support as needed
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient transitions from the operating room to the PACU
- Monitor and manage patients' recovery from anesthesia
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications:

• MO RN License
• 2 years of experience Pre-Op/PACU
• BLS - ACLS and PALS must be obtained the first 90 days
• Orthopedic experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Insight Global Health is looking to add a new OR Circulator to their client's team in the St. Louis, MO area! This RN will provide quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Clinical Director. This site is an Ambulatory Surgery Center that runs 5 days a week. The schedule is 6 or 6:30 AM to 3:30 or 4:30 PM depending on the surgeries of the day.
